Maryland Crabcakes
These crabcakes are wonderful to serve as tea snacks or in between buns in a sandwich.

Ingredients
600g crab meat
½ cup breadcrumbs
1 egg, beaten
½ tsp. dried thyme
1 tbsp. spring onions, chopped
1 tsp. tobasco sauce
1 red capsicum, diced small
½ tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
¼ cup mayonnaise
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, thoroughly combine crab meat with the rest of the ingredients.
Shape the mixture into small patties using your hands.
Fry the patties in butter and a little oil over medium heat until golden.
