Stir Fried Crab in Mango Sauce (Ketam Masak Sos)

Ingredients

  • 4 large crabs, split into half
  • 2 tsp. oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp. soy sauce
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 3 tbsp. corn flour
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 3 white onions (chopped)
  • 1 chopped red chili
  • 2 packets of Lee Kum Kee Sauce© for Lemon Chicken
  • 1 tbsp. marmalade jam
  • 1 ripe mango – one half minced and the other diced.
  • A little bit of chicken broth
  • 1 tsp. of oyster sauce
  • Some shredded spring onions and coriander leaves for garnishment

Instructions

  1. Mix crabs with oyster sauce, beaten egg and corn flour.
  2. Stir fry until cooked, then remove from wok.
  3. Heat some more oil and sauté white onions with red chillies until fragrant.
  4. Add lemon sauce, marmalade jam, oyster sauce, chicken broth, mango, and boil sauce.
  5. Add in stir-fried crabs to boiling sauce and cook until the sauce thickens. Sprinkle a bit of spring onions and coriander leaves before serving.
