Classic Sugar Cookies
Easy to make and mould into a variety of your favorite shapes. These are populat festive treats – crisp on the outside and soft in the middle.

Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
225 gm butter
1 cup sugar
1 tsp lemon zest
3 eggs
Instructions
Sift flour, baking powder, and baking soda together.
Cream butter and sugar together using a blender or whisk.
Add lemon zest and egg (one at a time).
Mix the lemon zest and egg well.
Combine dry ingredients with butter mixture.
Mix them until dough comes together.
Roll out dough to 1/2 cm in thickness.
Cut out the cookie using a cookie cutter.
Bake on a cookie tray at 170°c until golden about 10-12 minutes.
